Too brave, young lady...

Vacation was terrific!  The kiddos were well-behaved, got along, played and swam all day every day... They were loved on by their aunts and uncles.  They slept and ate well.  We couldn't have asked for a better week.  Izzy was there too... just didn't take many pics of her.  She was the best traveler, though, hands down :)

4 months!

They say, "It goes so fast!"  And it is SO true!!  My Izzy is already eating rice cereal like a champ!  Loving the stage we're in right now.  Feeling blessed to be able to stay home with my beautiful kiddos every day.  Wouldn't change it for the world.

My sweet, Miss Iz... Started the "cry-it-out" before naps and bed today:  
First nap- cried 20 minutes, slept 2 hours!  WHAT!!??
Second nap- cried 12 minutes, slept 1 hour!
Third and final nap (hopefully!)- cried 0 and still sleeping :)
I'm in heaven!  I can't even tell you how many minutes/hours a day I spend bouncing my sweet girl to sleep, for her to then sleep 20-30 minute naps.  Exhausting!!  We did the cry-it-out thing with the other two and they are excellent sleepers, so we started this little lady and Day 1 = Success!  Another weight off my shoulders and more time today to enjoy and play with the other two.  So beautiful :)

 Our Isabelle is 3 months old!!  Can you believe it!?  I am happy to say that we are in a good place now.  Izzy is sleeping well... getting up just once at night.  She naps in her bed during the day.  She's content when awake, for the most part.  She talks and laughs.  I could just eat her up!  Praising God for our sweet baby girl.

We celebrated Addie as she graduated from preschool last Friday.  On to Kindergarten this fall!!  Proud of our little lady :)

In conclusion, I think the ladies look the most alike... so much, in fact, that Addie looked at this and thought the bottom two were both Isabelle.  Now once her eyes change to brown and her hair darkens a bit, she will look even more like the others :)  At least everyone knows all three kiddos came from the same parents ;)

My girl is 2 months old.  It has been a long, whirlwind of two months, but we're making it!  She's smiling and talking-- and also crying and not sleeping-- but this too shall pass :)  I am making a conscious effort to choose joy every day and love on this little lady, knowing this could be our last!  Love my children and teach them about Jesus... I'm trying, Lord.  Give me strength.

HAPPY EASTER!!

Here's my beautiful girlie- one month old. Definitely been a challenging and exhausting month. We have our good days though. I think going from 2 to 3 kids is tough-- most people told me it'd be a breeze...

But I'm married to an amazing man who gets up with her in the middle of the night, rocks her to sleep most every night, and still invests in / plays with the other two from the minute he walks in the door to the time they go to bed.

Many things to be thankful for.

Now off to bed ;)
