Trout Lake family camp 2016
We had a fantastic week at Family Camp! Lots of family time. Some adult time. Lots of friend time.
We came home dirty and exhausted! But memories were made.
Love our little people. Love this tradition we began. Here's to next year!!

Eli turns 7!
Celebrated Eli's bday with family a bit early tonight. He turns 7 on Saturday. What an incredible kid. Tender-hearted, sensitive, sweet, and yet also all-boy... tough, strong, extremely athletic. He has stolen my heart from day one and my love for him continues to grow. So thankful for him. So thankful for what he brings to our family. So thankful to be able to walk through life beside him. Looking forward to seeing him thrive in 1st grade this year!! Love you Elias James.

summer :)
Summer is flying!! We have done some fun mini-trips! We spent a weekend in July up at Trout Lake Camp with Lynn and Aaron and Jess. Yes, that's Oliver in his life jacket. He wore it everywhere :)
The kids' favorite part of the summer (so far) was our trip to Anderson, Indiana to visit Uncle Phil and Auntie Kylee. We crashed their house for three nights. We relaxed, did crafts, swam at a nearby pool, visited a park, went to Phil's work, ate delicious donuts, and went to the Children's Museum. Such fun!
Memories were made! Fun was had! We will do it again :)

Spring Break 2016!
Spring break was a success! It took us a couple days to get used to having everyone home, but we adjusted and then really loved being around each other :) We did Chuck E Cheese, swimming, Como Zoo, lunch with Dad, a movie, and Easter Egg hunts with family. Blessed to have these kiddos in my life. Now back to the routine again ;)

I'm back!
Life is busy! But I will try and update more regularly... for all our viewers... (Lisa)!! :)
We took our sled picture today... don't mind the grass in the background! Ha! Needed to get it in before all this warm weather takes away all our snow. I want to do one every year until they are full grown and hate me for it!! :)
Things are good. We head to Wisconsin Dells tomorrow for a 4 day get away! Kids are missing a little school, but seem to be excited to go. I will post pics when we return. Looking forward to uninterrupted relaxed family time. Yipee!!

my sibs
I love these people. So fun to spend Christmas break with family. I miss them like crazy. My brothers and I live very different lives. Jeff is trying to make it big in LA and Phil is writing music in IN. I stay home with four rugrats :) But so fun to get together and feel like none of those differences matter. What matters is we love each other, care for each other, pray for one another, and support and encourage each other. Family. What a gift.
