Thanks for the comments and support on my last post. It's nice to know other people are going through the same things as we are! She's actually slept really well the last 4 nights, which has been a blessing because Brandt and I are both sick and in need of rest. We've had a rough last few nights. Addie will wake up in the middle of the night, screaming and terrified. It's as though she's had nightmares and can't calm herself down. Then she looks around her room and seems to be scared of everything she sees. Has anyone gone through this? I didn't think it would happen until she was older, but it's been 4 out of the last 5 nights. Last night she was up every two hours, but she was running fever, so it must have been something different. I'm tired!!
That second pic is her looking at and saying "light." It's her new word. She's proud of herself :) I like this stage (besides for our rough evenings) because she's figuring out that everything has a name. So she points to things all the time and waits for me to tell her what it is. So cute!

Not too much is going on... Brandt got over strep and pink eye, but he's still struggling with an awful cough. Addie and I never got it, thankfully. Back to work tomorrow. Two months until summer break... I'm ready to stay home with my baby girl. :-)

Here was our girl today at all of our Easter festivities. Tonight I was holding Addie (and her blankie, of course) in the rocker and singing songs to her. She just sat there so peacefully and would look up at me every once in awhile. I was completely in love! As I was staring at her I was reminded of the fact that how much I love Addie doesn't even compare to how much God loves us, His children. It's such an amazing concept to grasp. I will never understand it. Happy Easter, everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful day :)

We're home! We had a great time but we were definitely ready to come home to our little girl. And boy, was she excited to see us! Almost as excited as I was to see her :) Those are a few pics from our trip. The highlights were the shows- David Copperfield and Cirque... amazing! And just being together. It was nice to hang out with just Brandt. Enjoy the pics!

David Copperfield is my hero! Brandt and I went to his show at the MGM Grand tonight and it was AMAZING!! We were in the front row. We also got called up on stage to "assist" in one of his illusions! We were in charge of testing the steel plate and watching from all angles as he "magically" pushed himself through the steel. It was incredible! While I was testing the steel, Brandt was instructed to test (feel) my behind :) In front of 500 people! hehe. I thought it was Copperfield at first, but relieved to find out it was only Brandt. The show was awesome! We're having a great time!!!

Well, we're off to Vegas tomorrow! I pray Addie is good for all the family who are keeping her. Thanks you guys! Love you, Miss Addison! (She's waving goodbye!)

Two days... :)

One of Addie's top teeth is in! YEAH! That's the excitement in our house right now. Also, Brandt and I leave for Vegas in 6 days... the countdown begins :-)

We were up early this morning, so we worked on standing. She's getting stronger and stronger!

Here are the new stats for Miss Addison Noelle, after her 9 month appt. this morning...
Height- 28 inches
Weight- 22 lb. 8 oz.
Head- 47 cm
**All in the 95th percentile**
The doctor wasn't concerned, by any means. He even pointed out that her chubbiness was at least proportioned correctly throughout her entire body. Gotta love it!! :-)

I finally did it! I got Addie's hair to go up into a clippy!! She's looking more 'girlish' every day :-)

Our girl is teething pretty bad... I just want those top ones to pop through. I feel so bad for her! She has been running a fever and sleeping a ton, so I'm ready to have her back to normal. That's the scoop on us. Have a good day everyone!

We had a busy but fun weekend! Saturday we went to Duluth to visit our friends, Natalie, Allen, Nora, and new baby Joliana. It was crazy! The babes weren't the happiest... at least one was loud or crying at all times... we laughed a lot, looking at our situation and trying to remember the days with no kids when we would stay up all night playing Rook and eating chocolate chip cookies :-) It was a good trip!

YEAH!! My hubby passed his last CPA test! No more tests :-) This has been a long road for him, but he's done and I couldn't be more proud of him!! YEAH!!!

Addie experienced her first car wash today... boy, was it an experience! She was so scared. She screamed the entire time and then the whole way back home. I guess I don't blame her- they kinda scare me :)

Addie said her first word yesterday... "Dada." Actually she says, "Dadadadadadadadadadadada..." It's adorable. And yes, I'm jealous! Brandt thinks it's because she loves him more. I don't think so :-)

Addison is 8 months old! This is officially my favorite stage... these last few weeks have been wonderful. She's been so fun :) Dance is over as of yesterday, so I will have my life back pretty soon. More time to spend with my family. Now I might finally start to feel like I work part-time; it hasn't felt like that in a long time.
