Our baby girl is really sick. She's been battling a cold for a week now, but the last few days it has been in her chest. I took her in last night, and after listening to her lungs, they decided to run a nebulizer treatment. This was the worst! I don't know if it was worse for Addie or for me! I had to hold her tight in my arms and hold that mask on her while she breathed in and out for 7 minutes! She screamed the whole time!! AHHH! But he listened to her lungs after the treatment, said they sounded much better, and sent us home with our very own Nebulizer to be done 4 times a day. I was dreading it last night, but Addie didn't even shed one tear. Whether it was the fact that it felt good to her to breathe in, the fact that we were at home and not in a small white room, or the fact that Elmo was on TV during the treatment... I was just thankful! She did well with it this morning too. Last night was rough- I 'got' to hold her all night. She'd sleep for 20 minutes, cry for 20, sleep, cry... I just felt so bad for her. It was a long night. So, keep us in your prayers. I took the rest of the week off of school, so I can stay home with her. I wish I could take it all away...

We celebrated Christmas with the Sorbels last night. Even though it was past Addie's bedtime, she still did really well! She absolutely loved opening her gifts! She especially liked pulling out the tissue paper. Her Auntie Tricia got her lots of cute clothes, including an adorable gold jacket and a green mini-skirt. Yikes! Uncle Aaron got her that Daisy Duck- the bag and Daisy were as big as she was :) She also got clothes and a book from Nana and Grandpa Sorbel. She was very spoiled! We had a great evening.
On a side note... my hubby passed his 3rd CPA test!!! One to go on January 2nd and then it's official! I'm very proud of him :)

I had the hardest time saying goodbye to Brandt tonight. We've made it 9 weeks and have only 2 to go, so we're definitely on the home stretch... but tonight was hard. Addie and I are going to stay at my mom's for the next two nights, so hopefully that'll make the week go faster. I'll try and take some pics at my mom's and post.

6 month appointment today...
20 lbs 5 ounces (95th percentile)
27 1/2 inches (95th percentile)
He he! Gotta love her :)
She's doing a bit better. Back to only waking up once or twice a night, which is good. She's battling a cold- again! So sick of her being sick. Just feel so bad for her! Still teething, but it's better. Amber told us about teething tablets- they are miracles!! Brandt is gone again, but we're definitely on the home stretch of his traveling. 3 weeks left.

That last entry was from Brandt... He's so positive! On a different note, I haven't slept in two nights because of the little girl. I was a little disappointed it wasn't an ear infection, because now what?? I'm assuming it's teeth- or a virus of some sort- or growing pains... Why can't she tell us what's going on? It is amazing though that even though I'm exhausted, a bit crabby, and dreading our evening of "sleep" tonight, I look at her and couldn't love her more! Pray for our night tonight.

I never knew a cold could last so long... Today was the worst of it, so hopefully she'll be feeling better tomorrow. She had a fever along with not being able to breathe today. Poor girl- I keep kissing her face telling her to give me the cold. I remember growing up my mom used to say to me when I was sick, "I wish I could take it away from you..." Now I know what she means. I hate seeing Addie sick. She's been pretty pleasant, but just tired of feeling this way. I don't blame her!
